The farmhouse was renovated in a way that feels luxurious with lots of colour and pattern, yet is practical. Prior to the renovation the farmhouse felt dark and confusing with many small rooms.
A couple of walls were knocked out to create an open plan living/kitchen and dining area. Access to the main bathroom was reconfigured to enable entry to the bathroom from within the home. The walls were painted in an off white to lighten and brighten the home, whilst also highlighting the beautiful dark timber floors. Brightly coloured fabrics were selected for the bedrooms with an eclectic array of patterns to reflect the purpose of the home….a happy place for a getaway. The stand out feature of the home is the copper bath tub in the ensuite which is complimented perfectly by the decorative wallpaper.
